Portrait of Everyone & No-one # 5 : Reclining woman

This series of portraits explores the notion that the faces we dream of are not entirely original but rather a collage of those we have encountered in waking life. Each painting captures this dreamlike essence, presenting figures that feel familiar yet are not tied to specific identities. By allowing the brush to guide the creative process, I craft faces that honor the many people I have been in the presence of, as well as the dream world itself.

This piece represents a woman's journey, grounded in self-love and confidence, as she navigates life and aging. Through the symbolic use of pearls and pomegranates—long associated with fertility and feminine power—it reflects the transcendence of societal expectations tied to womanhood and fertility. Elements like the window, forest, and mountain evoke a sense of hope, growth, and resilience, while the color red underscores vitality and strength
