Portrait of Everyone & Noone #9: Woman & the Fish

Portrait of Everyone & No One explores the intriguing nature of dreams, where the faces we encounter are not entirely new but a collage of those we've seen in our waking lives. The intuitive painting process brings forth faces that are not tied to specific individuals, but embody the essence of all who have passed through my life.

This piece delves into the symbolism of fish and pearls. Fish, inspired by Anahita, the goddess of water, represent life, fertility, and blessings. The pearl symbolizes silent grief, intuition, and fertility. Together, they tell a story of women’s experiences with fertility, aging, and the contemplation of motherhood.

This piece inspired the fish adorned with lace and pearls.
